We are different from traditional Realtors. Our responsibilities can be divided into three main areas:
1) Consult
As your consultants we will ask you insightful questions, questions that the typical agent might not ever take the risk of asking you. We will probe to discover what is really important to you and then listen carefully to your answers. Based on that information we will craft a strategic process to make sure you get the best transaction. We will anticipate likely obstacles and identify sensible means to circumvent them. We will see what others may overlook, so you won't get blindsided.
2) Negotiate
As your negotiators we treat your money like it is ours. When it comes time to save you or make you money, we are like pit bulls. Since money is such an emotional issue, to represent your own is like performing surgery on yourself. You would never do that. You would delegate that to a person who will make you healthy. We are skilled experienced negotiators and will protect your interests by critically examining the underlying assumptions being relied on, review agendas and motivations of individuals involved with the situation, and anticipate the possible emotional reactions of Buyers or Sellers to actions or communications given by everyone involved. We appropriately articulate the essential flaws in the arguments of others and reiterate the strengths of your position. We recognize when it is appropriate to resist the objections of others and remain committed to a sound course of action. Our negotiating skills alone are worth every penny you pay us.
3) Oversee Transaction Details
We oversee the details of a process where every transaction has 100-150 phone calls alone. Each one of them is loaded with critical details. Every "i" must be dotted and "t" crossed. The legal implications of making a mistake are far too costly. Our contracts typically have 35 pages with over 25,000 words that require 50 signatures. Somebody has to oversee all of that. The #1 consumer complaint today is that nobody takes responsibility. We take responsibility. We oversee all the details of your transaction and recognize the conclusions that can and cannot be drawn from the particular exchanges with all the people involved. We appropriately consider the probable effects and likely consequences that may result from taking a particular course of action. We then review with you appropriate strategies to bring your transaction to a successful conclusion.
